About Us

The Peaks Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. The purposes of the Peaks Woodturner-s are to (1) provide a meeting place for woodturners in Flagstaff, Arizona and the surrounding area, (2) share ideas and techniques regarding woodturning, (3) trade woods, (4) exchange ideas about tools, and (5) educate and foster the art of woodturning.

Check the meetings & events link on the left for meeting information as dates and locations change. Guests are welcome. Meetings *usually* take place on the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 6:30 p.m. The current meeting location is *usually* Local Works, 1926 N. 4th St., Suite #9, which is located in the alley to the right of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on 4th St.

We will be demonstrating at the Flagstaff Heritage Festival at Pioneer Historical Museum at 2340 N. Fort Valley Road on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
